Case: The Patek Calatrava collection is renowned for its rounded and smooth case shape. Patek. Patek Philippe has taken this characteristic feature as a basis for redesigning this model, with Parisian studs engraved on the lateral edges of the case.
The designers also developed a special case construction in which the lugs are integrated into the case back so that the Parisian studs fully cover the sides of the case.
The caseback is moulded to fit the original!
Literature: The charcoal grey dial has a vintage feel, with a black gradient around the edges and subtle graining reminiscent of vintage camera cases.
The dial features three-dimensional white gold lettering with a beige fluorescent coating and an understated “track” seconds scale.
The white gold cylindrical hour and minute hands are beige-coloured with a fluorescent coating. Date aperture at the 3 bit position with beige-coloured lettering!
Movement with black background: imported 9015 as base movement with modifications and upgrades! The movement’s bridges are chamfered, the edges are carefully polished, the large and small bridges are decorated with fishscale and Côtes de Genève motifs, the surfaces of the bridges are gold-plated, the recesses for the screws are polished and chamfered, and all the details are in perfect condition, and all of them are stamped with Patek Philippe’s classic double P. The movement’s movement is also available with a black background!
Strap: The new Ref. 5226G-001 is available with two interchangeable straps, one in beige suede calf leather and the other in black calf leather with an embossed textured pattern and beige stitching. Both straps are fitted with a white gold pin buckle and quick release lugs for easy strap changing!
